C Series High-Temperature Ceramic Coating

C Series is an air-cure, high-temperature ceramic coating rated up to 1,093°C (2,000°F), designed for exhausts, manifolds, headers and turbo parts. We apply C Series in a wide range of colours, in-house at our workshop in Heybridge, Essex.

What is C Series ceramic coating?

C Series coatings are Cerakote’s high-temperature range. They cure at ambient temperature (air cure) rather than in an oven, which makes them suitable for large or assembled exhaust components. Key features:

  • Temperature: rated up to 1,093°C, with individual colours carrying their own ratings.
  • Air cure: allow five full days before running up to working temperature.
  • Typical uses: exhausts, manifolds, turbos and heat shields.

Choosing a colour

Browse the colour swatches below. Each swatch shows the colour’s own temperature rating, so we’ll confirm the colour you choose suits your part. If a colour with a lower rating is used on a hotter part, the guarantee will not apply.

Process, guarantee and aftercare

Every part is blast cleaned with clean, virgin media, alcohol washed, preheated, masked where required and then coated.

Cerakote ceramic coatings carry a one-year guarantee, or two years with our two-stage plasma base and Cerakote system. Full details are on our ceramic coating guarantee page.

C Series FAQs

What temperature can C Series ceramic coating withstand?
C Series is rated up to 1,093°C (2,000°F). Individual colours carry their own ratings, and we’ll advise which suit your part.

What does “air cure” mean?
The coating cures at ambient temperature rather than in an oven. It needs five full days to cure fully before running up to working temperature.

Do all C Series colours have the same temperature rating?
No. Each colour has its own rating, so we’ll check that your chosen colour suits how hot the part runs.
