Micro Slick Dry Film Coating

Micro Slick is an air-cure dry film coating that reduces friction and helps shed oil on internal engine components. It has a blue/grey appearance and is applied in-house at our workshop in Heybridge, Essex.

Where is Micro Slick used?

Micro Slick is used on internal engine parts such as piston skirts, valve stems, cams, cranks and the underside of valve covers.

How it fits with other coatings

Micro Slick is often paired with ceramic piston coating: Piston Coat protects the crown, while Micro Slick reduces friction on the skirt. See our engine parts page for the full range.

Process and contact

Every part is blast cleaned with clean, virgin media, alcohol washed, preheated, masked where required and then coated.
